Retouching Work

I've been kind away from this blog and actually photography in general. A lot of things have been going on but I've decided to start it all back again. I am working on a fresh new website for my portraits and in the process of setting up another one for retouching work.

I've re-worked a few of my photos for the retouching websites...

Original -

And here is the after -

I also wanted to take that branch out on the left hand side because it was quite distracting. So here it is without the branch. I also added a color enhancement on it to make the colors pop a bit more.

Here is the second edit I worked on today.

Original -

I adjusted tones and contrast a bit. Then worked on the skin. Here is the result for that.

I wanted to soften the lines under the eyes a little without completing removing it which would make it look too unnatural.

Finally, i wanted his eyes to really pop. So here is the final image with an eye enhancement.

Here is my final edit for the day.

Original -

I worked on the skin first.

I then enhanced the eyes and lips. I also didn't like the cold, bluish cast on the image so i warmed it up a little bit.

Finally, i did a color enhancement filter for the final image for more drama.

PATRICIA | OUTDOOR BEAUTY PORTRAIT SESSION

"A warm smile is the universal language of kindness " - William Arthur Ward Most of the times, we want models to have a far away serious pose..it gives the photograph mystery and drama. This model certainly has that down...she is awesome at projecting.... Yet, what I love about shooting her is her smile... it also has that mystery like you just want to know what mischievous plan is she brewing up now... very lovely... Here is Patricia from the Basic modelling workshop on June18, 2016 PATRICIA https://www.facebook.com/369708589743959/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1057573924290752 For Classic Beauty Portrait Sessions, you may send me a message on my facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/EarthlyVisionz/ Smile and Stay Beautiful...Happy Shooting...

Week 3 Catch Up - Shades of Grey

I am almost all caught up with the themes. I have the next 2 themes ready and just need to post them here on my blog.  So, this post is a catch up for week 3, Shades of Grey. I love taking sky pictures because of the beautiful colors. I decided, though, that this photo still looks great in black and white because of the brilliant sun. So here's my submission for the theme.... This was taken on January 31, 2011 at Villa Escudero. Taken with Samsung GT-I8000 (cellphone) F-stop f/2.8 Exposure time 1/16384 sec ISO-50 Edited with Picasa 3 - made black & white, adjusted tuning I also wanted to post a picture that my hubby took that also works with the Shades of Grey Theme....it's my sister-in-law's Dog (Zoey's) best friend...."Cat" (aka 'Ket")..... I'm still trying to convince hubby to join in with the photo challenges....

MCP Project 52 Photo Challenge

This year I have joined several challenges....a crafting challenge...a jewelry challenge... and now I am officially joining a photography challenge. I've actually wanted to come up with a theme for each week and host a challenge myself. However, this has proven to be a difficult task to handle. So instead, I am joining the folks at MCP Project 52. They are currently on week 4...so I am already late. I do want to catch up, though because after scanning through the past themes, I found them quite engaging. So, this blog was created to display my photos and tell you a bit more about why I decided to take them....If you'd like to join in, stop by the website . Anybody can join at anytime!
