When I saw these two ladies, I thought I was having double vision...they actually aren't twins but they sure do look a lot a like. These ladies also joined the Basic Modelling workshop 1 which was held this past June 18. I might have mentioned before that i was attending an openshoot this weekend....I wasn't sure yet if i would because of the back log i have in editing but it was such a great theme...one of my favorite styles of photography....a "WINTER SNOW QUEEN" theme.... So I just couldn't say no... The event was on Saturday, June 25, 2016 and it was organized by Ms Elaine Lingad Quiapon. She had her team of makeup artist, Ms. April Geres Yap and hairstylist Ms. Riz De Leon Camangian. The shoot was in the "all famous" QC parks and wildlife where a whole lot of openshoots, prenup shoots and other kind of shoots are "usually" held. Luckily I live a hop and a skip away. I arrived there at around 11 and the models were all getting spruced up and pretty. I was very impressed with the makeup done on all the models as well as the hair. Some of the models brought their own props like furry coats that definitely would add to the overall theme of the shoot. It was ...

This model certainly has that down...she is awesome at projecting.... Yet, what I love about shooting her is her smile... it also has that mystery like you just want to know what mischievous plan is she brewing up now... very lovely... "Romance is the glamour which turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze." I have been waiting to shoot Xienalyn for a while now. We had a scheduled shoot which i had to cancel due to an ache in my back from shooting... I finally got the chance and it was awesome... I love her elegance comes through in the camera... Actually, she was in a different event and i thought she was one of the models from our event. I get a lot of people asking me if they can have their raw files.... I always answer "I'm sorry I don't give out RAW or unedit files" I know some people don't understand this and I hope one day it will all be cleared up. One thing I hope to impart to all those that i photograph is that I treat my photography as an art form. I've always been creative from making bead jewelry, fused glass, creating bags and clothes and even more. So as part of that creativity, I got into photography.  It gives me great pleasure to snap a photo and deliver a beautiful photo and see my client or model smile in delight. I want all the imperfections of life to fade away,bring out and show them the inner beauty that has always been there... The process of creating these "finished products" starts from the camera. There are certain settings you have to do and most tutorials or classes tell us to expose your photos a certain way...get a good exposure so that you don...

So a few weeks ago my husband and I attended an open shoot at Parks and Wildlife in QC. It was our first openshoot and we actually had a lot of fun. Our first model was Annloraine. It was really nice taking pictures of her because she already knew how to pose...no need to direct her on what poses would look good. Here are some of our best shots...
