Beauty & Possibilities - My Photography Journey

The first time I actually saw Zeszie was in another shoot by the group SayCheese... I wasn't attending their event at the time but I saw some photographers taking her photos. The first thing that came to my mind was how pretty she is and what a unique individual seems to be. I loved the platinum hair color she had, thinking how i always wanted hair like that. I hoped that one of these days I would be able to have a shoot with her as well. Well, fortunately my wish came true, as this is the second time I was able to photograph Zeszie. The first was a winter themed shoot and now this florals shoot. What stands out most when I photograph Zeszie is how natural and at ease she poses. It was a fortunate event when I was shooting Tina that we found a sun-kissed area with its golden rays illuminating her hair. A lot of people shy away from shooting towards the sun ...saying that its harsh... Yes if it is high noon, the sun has a harsh quality but at the golden hour, it lights up the model and gives their hair an amazing glow... Just look at Tina here at golden hour.... I took photos of Ms Charamaine who is also best friends with another model in the group, Ms Gym Gym. Charamaine has such a classic beauty..the curve of her chin, how the wind plays gently with her hair and especially her captivating eyes..it reminds me of the classic glamour photos. She is indeed beautiful!! "Romance is the glamour which turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze." I have been waiting to shoot Xienalyn for a while now. We had a scheduled shoot which i had to cancel due to an ache in my back from shooting... I finally got the chance and it was awesome... I love her elegance comes through in the camera... I get a lot of people asking me if they can have their raw files.... I always answer "I'm sorry I don't give out RAW or unedit files" I know some people don't understand this and I hope one day it will all be cleared up. One thing I hope to impart to all those that i photograph is that I treat my photography as an art form. I've always been creative from making bead jewelry, fused glass, creating bags and clothes and even more. So as part of that creativity, I got into photography.  It gives me great pleasure to snap a photo and deliver a beautiful photo and see my client or model smile in delight. I want all the imperfections of life to fade away,bring out and show them the inner beauty that has always been there... The process of creating these "finished products" starts from the camera. There are certain settings you have to do and most tutorials or classes tell us to expose your photos a certain way...get a good exposure so that you don...

Last Saturday I attended an openshoot.. BASIC MODELLING (FIRST SESSION) ORGANIZED BY KATHERINE CAMILLE TOVERA OF PH EVENTS GROUP APRIL 18, 2016 QC PARKS & WILDLIFE (TEAHOUSE) The morning was a modeling workshop for aspiring models followed by an openshoot in the afternoon. I was unable to attend the workshop for models in the morning but went to the openshoot around 130pm. The shoot had already started but some of the ladies were still being "made up" by the makeup artists... I was just observing because it is one of my wishes to one day also be a makeup artist too... another side of the spectrum :-) My goal for this shoot was to work on my "focus" Lately I had noticed that some of my photos were leaning on the soft side. Although it gives a feminine soft look, I was unhappy. I wanted a super clear super sharp photo. So i discussed it with my husband and we came to the conclusion that my hands must be unsteady and the effect was camer...
