Beauty & Possibilities - My Photography Journey

Today will be the start of the wardrobe selection.... How will this work.... You will get to choose your skirt according to slot number....so if you reserved first (slot#1) you will get to choose your selection first.... here is a sample.... there are 10 skirts - skirt1, skirt2, skirt3....and so forth... first person to reserve is slot#1.... she submits her top 3 selections - skirt1, skirt3 and skirt5 slot#1 is assigned skirt1 (which is her first choice) slot#2 submits her choices - skirt1, skirt 2 and skirt4 slot#2's first choice is already taken, so slot# is assigned skirt2.... and so forth until everyone is assigned a skirt.... its better to rank atleast 5 so you can be assigned right away.... At the event however, once one is done with a skirt, you may still opt to use it as a second outfit..... I hope this is clear for everyone...I can't wait!! I'm off to finish cutting some of the skirts so i can post more later....

I am having an open shoot on July 23, Saturday and it's called Flirty Floral Photoshoot.... I am creating maxi skirts, mostly full circle size but with some A line and maybe a few straight cuts. However, I asked each participant to bring their own tops for the skirts, the reason for this is so that they can have a perfect fit for the top. The skirts are flexible, forgivable because we can pin them or i can make them into garterized skirts so it can fit a range of sizes. But tops look much better when it is a perfect fit. So, what kind of tops should i use? This is a question that I am sure will come up. So i am writing this blog to show some suggestions of tops that would go with long flowy skirts... 1. CROP TOP I think with all the material a full skirt provides, a crop top would be a complementing partner for it. Crop tops can be sleeveless or even with sleeves..take a look at these lovely maxi skirt - crop top pairs that I searched/found in google Black...

It was a fortunate event when I was shooting Tina that we found a sun-kissed area with its golden rays illuminating her hair. A lot of people shy away from shooting towards the sun ...saying that its harsh... Yes if it is high noon, the sun has a harsh quality but at the golden hour, it lights up the model and gives their hair an amazing glow... Just look at Tina here at golden hour.... I took photos of Ms Charamaine who is also best friends with another model in the group, Ms Gym Gym. Charamaine has such a classic beauty..the curve of her chin, how the wind plays gently with her hair and especially her captivating eyes..it reminds me of the classic glamour photos. She is indeed beautiful!! Gym Gym was a natural at modeling...she is part of the basic modelling workshop session 1 but when I took her pictures I would never guessed that she is new at it. Her moves are natural and very relaxed...what a joy to photograph! When I saw these two ladies, I thought I was having double vision...they actually aren't twins but they sure do look a lot a like. These ladies also joined the Basic Modelling workshop 1 which was held this past June 18.
