FEATURED MODEL ANGEL

As i was preparing for my first open shoot, I would go through some of my friend list and send some people an invite to join. One of those i sent a message to was Ms. Angel. I was excited that she responded positively and so happy when she reserved.

Angel was the first person i met when I arrived on the day of the shoot...she was bright eyed and beautiful and so very friendly. I also learned that Angel is a blogger and a makeup artist as well...two things that I myself am hoping to get into more. As we chat sometimes online, I keep learning more about her and that we have similar interests. I discovered too that she used to work as an assistant stylist for photoshoots, commercials and magazines.

She too is a business woman and has an online shop like I do. She makes her own accessories and creates unique bracelets and necklaces

Angel's smile in her photos is so heartwarming, you can really see she is a joyful and warm person and I can't wait to get a chance to have another photoshoot with her soon.

Here are her shots from my open shoot.

To get to know a little about each one, i asked them to answer a few questions....

PATRICIA | OUTDOOR BEAUTY PORTRAIT SESSION

"A warm smile is the universal language of kindness " - William Arthur Ward Most of the times, we want models to have a far away serious pose..it gives the photograph mystery and drama. This model certainly has that down...she is awesome at projecting.... Yet, what I love about shooting her is her smile... it also has that mystery like you just want to know what mischievous plan is she brewing up now... very lovely... Here is Patricia from the Basic modelling workshop on June18, 2016 PATRICIA https://www.facebook.com/369708589743959/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1057573924290752 For Classic Beauty Portrait Sessions, you may send me a message on my facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/EarthlyVisionz/ Smile and Stay Beautiful...Happy Shooting...

Week 3 Catch Up - Shades of Grey

I am almost all caught up with the themes. I have the next 2 themes ready and just need to post them here on my blog.  So, this post is a catch up for week 3, Shades of Grey. I love taking sky pictures because of the beautiful colors. I decided, though, that this photo still looks great in black and white because of the brilliant sun. So here's my submission for the theme.... This was taken on January 31, 2011 at Villa Escudero. Taken with Samsung GT-I8000 (cellphone) F-stop f/2.8 Exposure time 1/16384 sec ISO-50 Edited with Picasa 3 - made black & white, adjusted tuning I also wanted to post a picture that my hubby took that also works with the Shades of Grey Theme....it's my sister-in-law's Dog (Zoey's) best friend...."Cat" (aka 'Ket")..... I'm still trying to convince hubby to join in with the photo challenges....

MCP Project 52 Photo Challenge

This year I have joined several challenges....a crafting challenge...a jewelry challenge... and now I am officially joining a photography challenge. I've actually wanted to come up with a theme for each week and host a challenge myself. However, this has proven to be a difficult task to handle. So instead, I am joining the folks at MCP Project 52. They are currently on week 4...so I am already late. I do want to catch up, though because after scanning through the past themes, I found them quite engaging. So, this blog was created to display my photos and tell you a bit more about why I decided to take them....If you'd like to join in, stop by the website . Anybody can join at anytime!
